Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Expands its Ethernet Portfolio with Accedian Networks High Performance Demarcation Equipment
Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe to OEM Accedian’s MetroNID and MetroNODE 10GE demarcation devices to deliver an end-to-end solution with the industry’s most accurate performance measurement.

Montreal, Quebec, May 24, 2011 - Accedian Networks™ —the number one provider of High Performance Service Assurance™ solutions for Carrier Ethernet mobile backhaul networks—announces that it has signed an OEM agreement with Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd. Fujitsu will OEM Accedian’s full product line of MetroNID® 1 Gigabit Ethernet demarcation devices, as well as its MetroNODE 10GE™–the industry’s first 10 Gigabit demarcation and OAM aggregator. The demarcation devices will be part of Fujitsu’s FDX2400 family of products enabling the Company to deliver an enhanced, end-to-end solution with the industry’s most accurate performance measurement. The agreement puts both companies in a strong position to continue leveraging the growing market for high performance Ethernet applications. Fujitsu’s series of FDX2400 Switches are designed for use in multiple applications within customer networks to provide support for Next Generation Access, Mobile Backhaul and Point-to-Point fibre networks, all within a single product.
