Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit able to bring solutions to life and impact results. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Carrier field organizations to drive revenue with a specific focus on assigned Tier 1 Carrier field organization (AT&T). You will lead, manage and close sales opportunities in the field, as well as create and execute on new sales strategies to drive sales. This position will be responsible for all sales activity within a defined geographic area (Midwest or East Coast).

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Partner with product management and marketing teams in new product rollouts.
  • Collaborating with sales engineering on the RFI /RFQ process.
  • Participate in customer lab evaluations and field trials.
  • Conduct presentations to both customer and internal audiences, communicating the functionality and benefits for specific products, services and integrated solutions.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and new developments by attending shows, conferences and engaging in forum discussions.
Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of prior sales experience working in a Field Sales / Account Manager role.
  • Prior experience in selling telecom products to Tier 1 Carrier field organizations with an emphasis on Ethernet including cell site backhaul and Ethernet Business Services products are required. Prior experience selling into AT&T desired.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry related experience.
  • Must possess a drive for results and demonstrate a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Must possess a strong focus on customer service and be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
  • Must be able to maintain a functional home office and travel extensively by air and car within the assigned territory or region.
