Job Description:
As a member of the Operations team, the IT Helpdesk specialist will be a hands-on contributor to implementation, maintenance and support of Accedian’s network and applications both locally at the corporate head-office as well as supporting the international sales force across Europe, APAC and Latin-America. In this role, you will work in partnership with other members of the IT team, as well as with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, R&D and Sales in supporting the use and ongoing management of the network; more specifically e-mail, servers, databases, shared drives and desktop applications.
Responsibilities:
- Support local and international employees using available tools and applications
- Create new tools to help improve employee IT knowledge base
- Create and document processes; new hire, termination, other workflows
- Participate in new projects; network upgrades, software and servers deployment and configuration
- Manage the daily IT helpdesk; ticket requests, other daily tasks
- Maintain the asset management system (computers and company IT resources)
Requirements/ Qualifications:
You possess a solid knowledge in MS Windows and related tools, as well as a good understanding of network topology. Coupled with 2 years plus of IT support experience, you are comfortable in an environment with changing priorities, are capable of rapid adaptation to new techniques / processes and technology and are very customer service oriented.
Bilingual in both English and French you have experience with Linux as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Past experience with VOIP (Asterisk) is a definite asset.
Microsoft Certification(s) are a plus.
